Sahara is located in Rock and has easy access to Porthilly beach. From the house one can walk onto the footpaths beside the Golf course and along to the dunes and down to the sea at Rock beach or go down across Rock Road to the footpath to Porthilly beach. The Mariners pub and restaurant is 8 minutes walk which is opposite the Rock Sailing and Waterski Club and its slipway onto the beach and the Camel Estuary. The view from here across the Estuary to Padstow is always full of interest, boats and action and just a little further along the beach is Ferry point where the Black Tor Ferry runs a service linking Rock to Padstow. The house has a fully enclosed front garden with a pedestrian gate and a small South facing patio. The large garden table in the garden is ideal for eating outside and for BBQs. The house has views of the sea and across the River Camel estuary to Padstow and to the hills above from its front garden and upstairs windows. If you are interested in booking, check out the rental prices and availability, and then contact us. This four bedroom house sleeps up to 9 people and has 3 bathrooms. There are spacious living and dining rooms and a separate kitchen. If you are interested in staying, contact the owners directly. Sahara has a sauna with benches for 4 people to lay down. There is parking in the drive for several cars or boats, and there is an EV charge point. The carpeted former double garage is now a playroom. This is ideal to change out of your wetsuit or to store your buggies or skiing and boating items or your golf equipment. The downstairs shower room is nearby for showering before you go upstairs. Sahara is marked by the d Arrow on the map - note that the house is within a few minutes walk of the Golf Club, the Sailing Club, the shops, the Padstow Ferry and Rock and Porthillly beaches. A longer walk across the dunes or golf course will take you to Daymer Bay and Polzeath Beach beyond.
