The dining room faces west over the front garden and has a sliding glass door - mind the step - onto the front path. Inside is a unique elliptical table designed for the room which seats ten in comfort or twelve if you are friendly. There is a serving hatch through into the kitchen so we always arrange the seating plan so the most helpful people get to pass everything through. A glass topped sideboard helps for the later courses or drinks, and a small wine rack - usually empty - is there for you to keep your precious bottles lying flat.
